Spencer Van Wyck is the Canadian actor who plays Wesley Betenkamp in Degrassi: The Next Generation. He was born on October 5, 1992. He made a guest appearance in the Season 9 episode, Innocent When You Dream; and is now signed on as a regular in Season 10. He was also interviewed alongside Jahmil French and Cory Lee in a special MuchMusic appearace during a commercial break of Degrassi Season 10 Midfinale.

Wesley Betenkamp is a sophomore currently enrolled in the gifted program at Degrassi Community School He is a sophmore (Grade 10). He used to have a crush on Anya MacPherson, but is now interested in Hannah. Wesley is portrayed by Spencer Van Wyck.

Declan Coyne

Landon Ryan Liboiron (born in 1991) is from a small farming community of Jenner, Alberta, about two and a half hours southeast of Calgary, Canada. When he was in grade nine, there were 21 students in his entire school. His real introduction to the stage came via the Missoula (Montana) Children's Theatre, which consists of two adults touring Western Canada and the U.S. Northwest in a little red truck. During their annual "week in residence," the adults mount a production using local children as actors. Landon's mother, an artist, drives for 14 hours to bring her son to Vancouver to learn, study, and audition. When he's not farming, Landon's father works as a pipeline inspector and supports his son. Landon also has two older brothers, Lance and Blake, who support his dreams. He portrays Declan Coyne in Degrassi: The Next Generation. He also plays bad boy Sam in Life Unexpected.

Declan Coyne made his first appearence in Season 9's premiere Just Can't Get Enough. He is a self-described child nomad, traveling to four different continents with his father who is a diplomat, his mother, and his fraternal twin sister, Fiona Coyne. He is very protective of her, sometimes causing family feuds. Declan is portrayed by Landon Liboiron.

Dave Turner

Jahmil French is a Canadian actor who is best known for his role on Degrassi as Dave Turner. His favorite character in the Degrassi series is Jimmy Brooks.

David "Dave" Turner is a sophomore currently attending Degrassi Community School. His goal is to get noticed and be popular, because he is tired of blending into the crowd. He is Chantay Black's cousin and his father, Officer Turner, is now working at the school. He is seen as the hopeless romantic type, often seen relentlessly flirting with girls he knows he doesn't have a chance with. He is friends with Alli Bhandari, Connor Deslauriers, and Wesley Betenkamp. He is currently in a relationship with Sadie Rowland. Dave is portrayed by Jahmil French.

ELI GOLDSWORTHY

MunroChambers was born on July 29, 1990 in Ajax, Ontario, Canada. He has been acting since he was 7, and his first job was in a McDonald's commercial. He has a twin brother named Thomas, as well as a younger brother named Michael. He is best known for his character, Eli Goldsworthy, on Degrassi and for his role on "The Latest Buzz", as Wilder. He then starred in a spinoff called Meet The Wilders' (that wasn't picked up). He has worked with Aislinn Paul on the set of "Murder in the Hamptons", before co-starring with her on Degrassi.
He and his identical twin brother, Thomas Chambers, played twins Sandy and Dennys in the movie, "A Wrinkle In Time". He is a fan of Jim Carrey, and a few of his favorite TV shows include "Lost", "Family Guy", and "The Office". He went to high school with Charlotte Arnold, who plays Holly J. Sinclair on Degrassi.

Elijah "Eli" Goldsworthy is a junior (grade 11) at Degrassi Community School. Eli is voluntarily "different". He is extremely fond of the color black, listens to punk rock, reads comics, and drove a vintage hearse, nicknamed Morty. His trademarks are his guitar pick necklace, his lopsided smirk, and his sarcastic and opinionated personality. Currently, Eli has a hoarding problem, which means he has problems throwing things away without sentimental value. He is best friends with Adam Torres and an enemy of Fitz. He is portrayed by Munro Chambers.


Connor Deslaurdins

He is best known for playing the role of Connor on Degrassi: The Next Generation. He also starred in the film Aruba in 2006. A.J. has hosted thirteen episodes of Open Your Ears, a music show aired on Canada's YTV.When he was seven, he played Natalie Cole's son in The Natalie Cole Story. He also had a role as Oscar in Vacation With Derek which also starred Jordan Todosey.

Connor Deslauriers is a sophomore (10th grade) at Degrassi. He is a fictional character in the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation, portrayed by AJ Saudin. Connor is best friends with Wesley and Dave, and good friends with Clare, Alli and K.C.. He has Asperger's Syndrome, and is geeky, but very smart.

K.C Guthrie

Sam Earle is best known for portraying K.C. Guthrie on Degrassi: The Next Generation. He was born on October 4, 1993. He also starred in "Sticks and Stones" as Curran Webster and appeared in short films "Almost Tragic" and "Little Holland.

K.C. Guthrie is a sophomore at Degrassi. His dad is currently in jail and his mom is a recovering drug addict who has recently got out of jail. K.C. used to live in a group home, but has recently moved back in with his mother. K.C. broke up with his girlfriend Jenna Middleton, after she revealed to him that she was pregnant with his child, but later reconciled with her. He became a father on April 22, 2011 when his and Jenna's baby, Tyson was born. He is good friends with Drew Torres, Alli Bhandari and Dave Turner. He is portrayed by Sam Earle.

Riley Stavros

Argiris Karras was born on May 24th. He is a Canadian actor of Greek descent, and is best known for his role as Riley Stavros on Degrassi: The Next Generation. Argiris appeared in an episode of Look-A-Like in 2007. He was chosen for his resemblance to American musician, Justin Timberlake. In the episode Argiris mentions his desire to be an actor.

Riley Stavros is a character on Degrassi: The Next Generation. He is a senior (Grade 12) at Degrassi Community School, and he is the captain and quarterback of the Degrassi Football Team. He also recently came out to Degrassi. He is currently in a relationship with Zane Park. He is shown to be exceptionally talented in all athletics, especially football, and even plans to be one of the first openly gay professional football players. In the show he was portrayed as being lonely and untrusting of people, and to be scared of the world at large and have a need to be well-liked, although it should be mentioned that he put on a facade of confidence in order to throw people off. He also was formerly very frustrated with his homosexuality. His mother is shown to be extremely disapproving of his gayness, and his father is likely just as bad. It is strongly suspected by viewers and implied in the show that his fear of his parents' disaproval and shame of him is what gave him his issues

Principal "Snake" Simpson

Stefan Brogren is a Canadian actor, producer, and director. He plays Archie "Snake" Simpson in the Degrassi Franchise. For the first nine season of ' Degrassi: The Next Generation, Simpson was a teacher at Degrassi, specializing in computers and media. He became the new principal in Season 10. Stefan was the first Canadian actor to use the word "f***" on Canadian primetime television on the Degrassi High TV Movie.'In 1999, Stefan starred in the music video for 'Rock Past It' by London pop-metal band, Scratching Post. Brogren directed "Degrassi Of The Dead," which was broadcast on The-N during Halloween 2007. The 15 minute webisode depicted several of the Degrassi characters attempting to escape from other characters who had become zombies as a result of eating genetically modified food. The show was followed by a behind-the-scenes/making-of presentation during which he was introduced as the director. He also directed the 2008 special Curse of Degrassi, 2009's Degrassi Goes Hollywood and 2010's Degrassi Takes Manhattan.

Archie "Snake" Rupert Simpson (b circa 1974), is an alumni of Degrassi Junior High and High in the 1980s. He is currently the principal of Degrassi Community School in Toronto, Canada. He is portrayed by Stefan Brogren.

Owen Milligan

Daniel Kelly is a Canadian actor who portrays Owen Milligan on Degrassi: The Boiling Point. He lives in Mississauga and attends Iona. Daniel is currently dating Melinda Shankar, who plays Alli Bhandari. Owen is now a main character.

Fitz

James Edward Campbell is a Canadian actor. He portrays Fitz on Degrassi: The Next Generation. He has been on other programs, such as "Gangster Exchange", "Booky and the Secret Santa", "Jeff LTD", "Fatal Desire", and he was on a episode of "the latest buzz" with Munro Chambers. He has a Youtube account with his friend. He also recently opened a twitter account.

Mark "Fitz" Fitzgerald used to be a junior (11th grade) at Degrassi. He was expelled in Season 10. He is seen with Owen Milligan, Johnny DiMarco, Bruce the Moose, Riley Stavros, Blue Chessex, and Bianca DeSousa among other students. It appears that he has a broader group of friends than his counterpart, Bruce. He is the school bully and Bianca is his "partner in crime." He has as recently been arrested for having a knife in Degrassi: A Night In Vegas. His character was once solely based on his actions as a bully, but his attention to the characters of Adam Torres, Clare Edwards, and Eli Goldsworthy have given him a stronger personality and role in the series. Although he has had his fair share of antagonistic behavior, he has been shown to be slightly more caring than Bruce. Although he has shown a tendency towards homophobia, a certain intolerance has not been shown, and his rude behavior towards Adam can be seen as simple comebacks to their strangled relationship.
During Degrassi: The Boiling Point, Fitz become somewhat of a rival to Eli Goldsworthy. He has been shown beating him up on a few occasions, however, he has seen the worst end of the rivalry, having been arrested twice as a direct result of Eli's antics (once for menencing after Eli spiked his drink at Vegas Night, the other being Fitz's arrest due to a Fake ID mishap). He is also romantically interested in Clare.


Zane Park

Shannon Kook-Chun is a South African and Chinese actor known for playing the character of Zane Park on Degrassi. His father is Chinese and his mother is South African. Argiris Karras encouraged him to try out for the role of Zane Park; they are friends in real life. Shannon has been a guest star in the CBC shows, "Being Erica" and "The Border". He also plays the role of Deven Phillips in the show, Baxter with a former Degrassi star Evan Williams, who plays Baxter McNab He plays opposite a former Degrassi actor, John Bregar, in "Verona: The Movie", where they both portray gay men. Shannon has stated that he is not gay in real life.

Zane Park is an openly gay senior (12th grade) at Degrassi Community School. He originally made a guest appearance in Season 9, and later became a recurring character in the first half of Season 10, before becoming a regular in the second half. He is the starting kicker of the Degrassi football team and is in a relationship with Riley Stavros. He is portrayed by Shannon Kook-Chun.
