Alliah "Alli" Bhandari is a sophomore (grade 10) at Degrassi Community School. After her parents were confronted of her ways by her extremely thick permanent record, she became determined to change. Alli lives with her parents and older brother, Sav. She is best friends with Clare Edwards and Jenna Middleton, and is also friends with Dave Turner and K.C. Guthrie. She was in a relationships with Johnny DiMarco and Drew Torres. Alli is portrayed by actress Melinda Shankar.

She was a firm believer in the Christian faith, until her parents' divorce, which caused her to question her beliefs. Clare is best friends with Alli Bhandari and good friends with Adam Torres. Clare has been in relationships with KC Guthrie and Eli Goldsworthy. She is portrayed by Aislinn Paul.

Annie is a trained in jazz, ballet, and hip-hop Dancer. She also plays the clarinet, guitar and piano. Other roles she has played include "The Listener", "How to be Indie", "Overruled!", "Paper Scissors Glue", "Roxy Hunter", "Campus" and "The Secret of the Shaman". Alicia Josipovic is a Canadian actress. She is best know for her role on Degrassi portraying Bianca DeSousa. She is also on the show, Debra!, on the Family Channel. Alicia plays Dancy Cologne. She is also a professional dancer and has appeared in "Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars" and "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" as a dancer. Alicia also happens to be a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

Holly J Sinclair
Charlotte Gray Arnold was born on July 27, 1989 Toronto, Ontario, in Canada. Arnold currently portrays a mean girl turned nice, Holly J. Sinclair on Degrassi. Her other credits include roles in several TV movies as "Custody of the Heart", "Uninvited", "Giant Mine", and "One Kill". She also had a role in the feature film, "The Safety of Objects". Before Degrassi, Charlotte played the title character in Disney Channel's tv series "Naturally Sadie". Charlotte was a 2001 nominee for Best Performance in a TV Movie at The Young Artist Awards in Los Angeles. Alongside Raymond, she is currently enrolled in Journalism (3rd year) at Ryerson University in Downtown Toronto. She went to highschool with Munro Chambers, who plays Eli Goldsworthy.

Jajube Mandiela is a Canadian teen actress best known for playing Chantay Black in Degrassi: The Next Generation. Her character was recurring in seasons 4-7, and became a regular in season 8.

Chantay Black makes her first appearance in Modern Love, where she is with Manny, Emma and Darcy at their girls sleepover. Chantay is a the new friend of Manny and they had the "girls night" to forget about boys. But Chester and his brothers showed up and Manny, Darcy, and Chantay all had crushes on Chester. When Chester called Emma a hoe and gave her a wet top, they lost interest and all played a prank on him by decorating his house in tampons. They were caught by the police, but no charges were pressed and Chester apologized.
Anya MacPherson
Samantha Munro (born October 19, 1990 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is an actress best known for her role on Degrassi: The Next Generation, as Anya MacPherson, first joining the cast during Season 7. She currently lives in Courtice, Ontario, Canada. Samantha also enjoys horseback riding, swimming, gymnastics, and soccer. She is a gymnast in floor, vault, and trampoline. She has starred in Wildcard, Falcon Beach, The Bend, and Would Be Kings. Before making her television appearances, she was a member of the Oshawa Little Theatre, where she performed in Alice in Wonderland, Tom Sawyer, and The Wizard of Oz. Samantha is good friends with Degrassi star Melinda Shankar.
